July 31, 2013 - Rob and Des welcomed their second son to the family Tyson Grant Haslam


January 9, 2013 - Robert completed his Masters in Business Administration at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA.

July 22, 2011 - Rob and Des's first child  - a boy - Brock McKay Haslam was born.


February 11, 2011 - Rob and Des Haslam announced that they are expecting a boy to be born around July 30, 2011.
December 15, 2010 - Robert named Vice President at Goldman Sachs - Robert R. Haslam was named a vice president at Goldman Sachs in the Private Banking division.
April 2010 - Rob and Des moved into their new home in South Jordan, Utah.

April 10, 2010 - Rob married Desiree Neilson in the Salt Lake LDS temple.

December 12, 2009 - Robert Haslam and Desiree Neilson were engaged. They are planning a wedding in April 2010.

March 1, 2009 - Robert completed 13 months of service as the Elder's Quorum president in his student ward at the University of Utah and was released.

February 3, 2008 - Rob was called as Elder's Quorum President in the Salt Lake University 6th Ward (singles ward). Kent Norton lawyer, (and former channel 5 weekend  weatherman) is the bishop.

February 6, 2006 -  Rob starts new job with Goldman Sachs and Company in Salt Lake City (Research Park).  Goldman Sachs is one of the world's leading investment brokerages.  He is currently working on the Private Banking team designing new products for Goldman's high wealth clients.

December 16, 2005 -  Rob graduated Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a B.A. Business Finance and a B.A. Japanese.

January 1, 2005 - Attended the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe Arizona

May 2004 - Rob attended Japanese study abroad at Shinshu University in Nagano Japan.  While there he visited all the places he served on his mission.

November 23, 2003 - Rob baptized Yu, a girl from Japan. Yu is the niece of Junko Day.
August 26, 2002 - Rob returned from serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He was called to the Japan Kobe Mission and departed on September 13, 2000. On July 1, 2001 the Kobe mission was discontinued and Rob became part of the Japan Nagoya mission (based on where he was serving that day).
September 9, 2000 - Rob departed for two years of service in the Japan Kobe mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His first 12 weeks will be spent at the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo, Utah.
June 1, 2000 - Rob graduated from Hillcrest High School in Midvale, Utah.
