Angela & Friends Win Buick Regal at final Utah Starzz Basketball Game
Wednesday August 9, 2000 - Delta Center, Salt Lake City, Utah
Angela along with cousin Jennifer Day, Jane Clayton and 1 other girl won a 2-year lease on a Buick Regal - "The official car of the WNBA". They won the Buick Regal contest by shooting more shots from the foul line jump circle than their opponents (another "family" represented by dad and son). Sadly none of the girls are "old enough" to drive. In lieu of the car the Buick motor division of General Motors Corporation has sent a check for $ 10,000. After taxes each girl will receive about $ 2,000.00.
