Recently I (Reed) received the following - E-mail: I am an amateur genealogist and was for two days ago looking for new information re. my family. In Yahoo/Google I suddenly found the name Caroline Marie Tolboe who was a sister to my grandmothers grandfather. I know Caroline married Rasmus Rasmussen Berg and their son, Andreas, was one of their children that emigrated to the States. Carolines sister, Henriette, did the same!   My name is John Bils and I live just outside Copenhagen, Denmark. I am writing you to ask you if you are interested in having more facts about the Danish relations to your family?? If so I am willing to send you what I have about our family both here in Denmark and in the States. Kind regards John Bils Editor's Note:  Caroline Marie Tolboe is Arnold Berg's paternal grandmother.  John Bils has since provided me with information on the family of Caroline's parents Peder Christensen Tolboe and Ane Marie Tusenelle (Carlsdatter) Nielsen. They had 9 children including Caroline.  Mr. Bils' grandmother's grandfather is Caroline's brother Peter Funder Tolboe. Therefore, those of us who are Arnold's grandchildren are 4th cousins with Mr. Bils! According to Mr. Bils one of Caroline's sisters Henriette Tolboe came to the United States and died in Utah in about 1910. She married James Allen.  Anyone know anything more about Henriette?  It would be good if we can find out more about her.
