Highlights

I was expecting some good news today and I did not find any
The U.S. new infection count more than DOUBLED from the prior day reaching 66,951
Utah popped again with 131 new new cases. The death rate however is a superb 0.66%. This rate drops when you have new cases but no deaths.
Western European countries SIMPLY EXPLODED. The infection rates there are Germany 0.14%, U.K. 0.10% (but climbing rapidly), France 0.18%, Italy 0.24%, Spain 0.33% (the worst in the world). Now Sweden seems to want to join in the misery.
New York State new case count exploded again reaching 21,923 new infections, next was New Jersey with 6,611, and then Massachusettes with 3.739. The states with the highest infection rates are (1) New York with 0.83%, New Jersey with 0.57% and Louisiana with 0.39%. Michigan was the first to reach the 5% death rate level with 5.00%
The U.S. infection is now at 0.14%. The U.S. death rate is rising, now at 3.58%
