December 11, 2008 -Christmas greetings from theHaslams.
November 19, 2008 -Angela received her 2nd "A" pin in a ceremony at Utah State University in Logan.
The "A" pin requires two consecutive semesters taking 15 or more semester hours and earning a 4.0 grade point average. She was the only recipient in the department of Elementary and Deaf education. Utah State's Education department is ranked 23rd in the nation, the highest of any University in the intermountain west.
October 31, 2008 - Happy Halloween
October 24, 2008 - Gained our first Daughter-in-law - Jared married Melissa Sharp in the Salt Lake Temple
August 8-12, 2008 - Reed, Sherry and Michael returned to Northern California where Michael served his mission.
In 5 busy days they visited, the Oakland produce market, the Oakland LDS Temple, and people in Concord, Walnut Creek, Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Clear Lake, Middletown, Vacaville, Winters, Ukiah and the Avenue of the Giants, north of Santa Rosa. They drove on dirt roads (Clear Lake), narrow roads with lots of curves (between Santa Rosa and Middletown), super highways I-880 (Oakland) and old highways (Old Redwood Highway).

June 30, 2008 - Michael gets new wheels. A 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Rally Art.
Now both he and his twin sister drive Lancers.

June 14, 2008 - Jared announced his engagement to Melissa Sharp.
The couple plans to wed October 24, 2008 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
June 11, 2008 - Michael returned home from his mission
Michael served for two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California Santa Rosa mission.
Elder Haslam Comes Home
March 28, 2008 - Angela has been coaching Special Olympics basketball and volleyball teams in Logan during this school year.
Her volleyball team pictured below took the gold medal in competition in Salt Lake City.
March 8-15, 2008 - Angela and a group of students from Utah State University traveled to New York City for a week of service projects and sight-seeing.

February 25-28, 2008 - Reed attended the Health Information Management Systems Society (HiMMS) 2008 Convention and Exhibition in Orlando Florida.
He helped with the Northrop Grumman exhibit on Health Information Networking.
A friend from Thailand who has worked several years at Sea World Orlando provided a free pass to enjoy most of a day at Sea World. The weather was COLD for Florida and even some of the animals looked like they were freezing.

February 3, 2008 - Robert was called as Elder's Quorum President in the Salt Lake University 6th Ward.
January 17, 2008 - Angela's USU Country Swing Dance Club performs
The club performed during half time of the Boise State vs. Utah State basketball game in Logan, Utah. See the photographs from the event below.
